Abiola Ajimobi, governor of Oyo state, has lost his bid to represent Oyo south senatorial district to Kola Balogun of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The governor, who ran on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 92,579 votes while the winner secured 105,720 votes.
Looks like Yinka Ayefele’s building demolition affected Ajimobi badly, despite later moves for peace.
