TRAGEDY: Ritualist Beheads Lady In Hotel

The police in Adamawa state have begun the search for a suspected ritualist who killed and beheaded a woman in a hotel in Yola North Local Government Area on January 18.

According to reports, the deceased was beheaded by a ritualist who lodged in the hotel with the lady. The ritualist told the receptionist that he wanted to go and buy something outside, but failed to return back and on checking in his room, the staff found the headless body of the young lady.

The matter was immediately reported to the police. The state Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, ordered an immediate investigation into the matter to apprehend the perpetrator and collaborators of the dastardly act for prosecution.

According to him, the Command holds the lives of all Citizens sacrosanct, and such unwarranted acts would be strictly treated in accordance with extant laws. He equally reiterated the commitment of the Command to protecting lives and property.
