Residents of Sokale area of Abuja have raised an alarm after some officials were seen exchanging ballot boxes during the presidential and national assembly elections on Saturday.
The incident which was caught on camera, shows the moment the ballot boxes were loaded into the booth of a white private car in the presence of police officers after making a quick stop.
The reason for the exchange was not ascertained as it was gathered that the residents who gathered to watch the incident – wanted to attack the officials but had to remain civilized. The residents are calling on the appropriate authorities to look into the issue.
