Frank Lampard, Chelsea’s caretaker manager, has told Mauricio Pochettino that there will be no ‘fast fix’ at the west London club as the former PSG coach prepares to take over at Stamford Bridge.

Pochettino will take over as manager of Chelsea at the end of the season after signing a three-year contract with the club.
The Argentine spent five years at Tottenham Hotspur but has been unemployed since leaving PSG last summer.
The 51-year-old joins a Chelsea team that has had a disappointing season despite co-owner Todd Boehly’s £600 million spending spree in the previous two transfer windows.
Chelsea, on the other hand, believes Pochettino’s arrival will make the race for the top four ‘more harder’ next season.
“I don’t think there are many quick fixes in football,” Lampard said in an interview with Stadium Astro.
“The Premier League moves quickly, which is why this year has been difficult for us because the battle for the top four is more difficult than it has ever been and will become more difficult.”
“The league’s beauty is that teams are investing, and the level of players, coaches, and tactics is improving.”

“We can only focus on ourselves as a club and understand what we need to fix.”
“It is not for me to predict the future, but it will require a lot of hard work.” I believe we will gain from a vacation, a pre-season, and some fresh air.”
