Judy Austin, a Nollywood actress and second wife of actor Yul Edochie, has come under heavy fire over her ‘insensitive’ testimony shared on social media.
KanyiDaily recalls that Judy Austin addressed the public for the first time since the death of her stepson, Kamilichukwu, the first son of her husband with his senior wife, May Edochie.
In the video shared on Yul Edochie’s Facebook page, Judy Austin said she is giving thanks to God for loving her and helping her through her pregnancy.
The actress testified how God saved her during her childbirth because he loves her so much and fights her battles even when all hopes were lost.
She never made any reference to the death of her stepson or show empathy for the deceased mother, May Edochie, but instead, focused on herself.
Judy Austin’s video has triggered outrage among her fellow celebrities who termed her testimony as troubling and insensitive considering May Edochie’s recent traumatic loss.
Taking to the comment section of her post, businesswoman Sandra Iheuwa wrote; “You claim God loves you but you can’t love your fellow woman not to cause her pain..God is indeed merciful ehn cos this is absolute madnesss.”
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Nina Ivy wrote: “What is wrong with this human, bitch you stole somebody’s husband and they literally just lost a child and you here saying God loves you, The audacity for me”
Nollywood actress, Uche Elendu wrote; “I blame the money face book is paying for shaa… odiegwu”
Another actress Nkech Blessing Sunday wrote; “I no want talk wetin Dey my mind… Women? Wetin your fellow woman do you? It’s well”
Former BBN housemate, Venita Akpofure also shared her two cents on the video saying, “Omo, I’m adding Mrs May Edochie to my intense prayers. Cus I would be in jail.”
Meanwhile, other Nigerians on Twitter have also reacted to Judy Austin’s testimonial video following the death of her husband’s first son, Kambilinachukwu Edochie.
