Enyimba forward Chijioke Mbaoma emerged top scorer in the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season, reports Completesports.com.
The 21-year-old opened scoring in Enyimba’s 2-0 win against Plateau United on Sunday.
Alade Balogun scored the other goal for the People’s Elephant.

Mbaoma scored 17 goals and provided two assists in 34 matches.
The powerful striker beat Remo Stars’ Sikiru Alimi to the individual accolade.
Alimi finished the campaign with 15 goals.
Mbaoma succeeds Enyimba striker, Emeka Obioma, who was top scorer in the NPFL last season.
