Osinbajo hospitalized, needs surgery

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has gone under the knife in an undisclosed hospital .

His media aide Laolu Akande confirmed this on social media.

According to him, Osinbajo had been enduring the pain of an injury to the leg which he sustained while playing squash.

He however did not state the hospital where the 66-year-old law professor is undergoing surgery.

Since he lost the APC presidential primary, the vice president had been somewhat away from the news— until his hospitalization.
