Davido & Tory Lanez Reunite On Sean Kingston's New Song, 'Peace Of Mind'

Over a year ago, Sean Kingston tweeted that he had an incoming collaboration with Davido and Tory Lanez. We were understandably very excited for this multicultural fusion of sounds, however after months of waiting, we had pretty much written it off.

Last week, Sean Kingston lifted our hopes once more, dropping a release date for “Peace of Mind”, and stayed true to his word this time, as the single finally made it to our airwaves today!

As expected, “Peace of Mind” is an upbeat fusion of different genres. Predominantly a pop song, Davido and Tory Lanez adopt reggae dancehall intonations to match Sean Kingston’s distinctive sound, which he has retained over the years, despite his long absence from music-making.

On “Peace of Mind”, Sean Kingston details his turbulent relationship, explaining that even though they fight all the time, they always return to one another. He describes his lover as his “kryptonite”, confirming that this is the same track he teased last year, just with a different name.

Although Sean Kingston carries the majority of the track, Davido shows up when he’s needed, delivering a commendable verse, particularly in terms of the songwriting on the stanza.

“Peace of Mind” is an incredibly catchy song, that could definitely make it to the summer charts. Listen to the spritely bop below:
