Listen To Sess' Incredible Remix Of Starboy's 2018 Anthem, 'Soco'

Sess is easily one of our favourite producers working today. From his production work for other artists, particularly Falz, to his masterful debut LP, Omo Muda, the beatsmith continues to flaunt his intuitive spirit when it orchestrating bangers.

His latest display of creativity comes in the form of a dance/EDM remix of Starboy’s monster hit, “Soco”, giving the 2018 anthem a new lease on life.

It is no small feat that over a year after its release, the multiple award-winning Starboy collaboration, “Soco” is still making the rounds. We’ve had Dapo Turburna, Eugy, Tory Lanez and more drop refixes and covers to the familiar track, but Sess’ rendition might just be the best.

To begin with, Sess’ remix is more moody than the original. The multifaceted producer infuses “Soco” with EDM production techniques, such as slowing down the track in parts and filling the verses with additional percussion that builds, rather satisfyingly, into the chorus.
