In what will come across as a really startling development, a female student of Ogume Grammar School in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State has been reported dead.
She reportedly died after hoodlums on Wednesday set ablaze a classroom building and the principal’s car in Ogume community.
Details as to what led to the incident were still sketchy at the time of this report.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe in a telephone chat with DAILY POST, said, “I have not been able to confirm that yet. The DPO number is not going through.”
Meanwhile, the Delta State Government has commiserated with the family of the deceased over their loss.
The governor through the Commissioner for Secondary Education, Hon. (Mrs.) Rose Ezewu, condemned the acts just as he said the destroyed properties must be repaired by the community.
