For obvious reasons, listening to an artist you love add their own twist to an already great song is always exciting. This is why covers and refixes are so popular, and a bunch of Nigerian artists have dropped some truly memorable refixes in the past couple of years.

While the internet is filled with talented up-and-comers hoping to jumpstart their singing careers by covering popular songs, we also get a bunch of established acts letting loose with refixes to songs they love as much as their fans do.
As fun as these refixes can be, it’s usually also a good way for these artists to show off their range and win over a bunch of new fans, as we saw with Simi’s cheeky take on Skepta and Wizkid‘s anthemic hit, “Energy (Stay Far Away)”.
