Burna Boy has been on a collaborative spree in the past year — from enlisting the likes of Lily Allen, J Hus and Mabel on his 2018 mixtape, Outside, to teaming up with Grammy-nominated production duo, DJDS, for his latest EP, Steel & Cooper.

Now, it looks like he could be teaming up with one of the most exciting new artists out right now, Koffee, and we’re hyped.

A Twitter user recently said that the afro-fusion star and the Jamaican up-and-comer need to work on a song together, and both talented musicians clearly agree, as they responded positively to the tweet, hinting at a collaboration in the future.

Last year, Koffee dropped her first record, “Burning”, which set her on the path to becoming one of the most talked-about new artists in reggae. Since then, she’s dropped her self-assured debut EP, Rapture, which has been met with critical acclaim.

Considering Burna Boy’s reggae influences on a number of his best songs, we can already tell that a collaboration between both stars would be straight fire. We’ll be keeping an eye out for it, and we hope it actually happens soon.

Until then, listen to Koffee biggest hit below:
