One of Nigeria‘s very few dancehall acts, Patoranking has managed to thrive in an industry that is so heavily inundated with afropop music, owing, in part, to his flexibility as a collaborative artist.

From the Wizkid-assisted hit, “This Kind Love” to his recent Davido collaboration, “Confirm”, Patoranking has doled out a solid selection of collaborative works. His latest exploit finds him teaming up with Grammy-winning Jamaican band, Morgan Heritage for “Pay Attention”

On the fantastic love song, Patoranking and Peetah Morgan, the band’s lead vocalist, encourage us to pay attention to the little things in our relationships. On his verses, Patoranking’s advice is for us to go the extra mile because just loving someone isn’t always enough.

The video for “Pay Attention” is chock full of glamorous, camera-ready locations, from an idyllic Kenyan safari to a vibrant nightclub in Nairobi. As well as appeasing fans with selfies, the video shows Patoranking and Peetah Morgan spoil their lovers in all the right ways.
