Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has vowed to be fair and just to all the people of the state irrespective of their political affiliation.
The governor said elections were over and so it was time to provide good governance to the people as he appealed to his opponents and supporters to join hand together and work for the progress and development of the state.
Governor El-rufai, who made the comment at a dinner organized in his honour at the Government House on Friday night, appealed to the people of the state to live in peace and harmony with each other.
“I believe that elections were over so, let us come together and work for the unity. We will be fair and just to every one whether they voted for us or not. Whether they voted for us or against us. Elections are over. it’s now time for governance,” he said.
On the security deterioration in some communities of the state, El-rufai said there will be a reenforcement of security agencies to help protect the lives of the people in those affected areas.
