Talent clearly runs in the Apata family, as Niniola and Teni Apata are two of the biggest Nigerian stars working today

Although the bond between the sisters is pretty clear — they’ve never been secretive about their love and support for each other — they still haven’t blessed us with a collaboration, and we’re sure everyone has been holding their breath for one.

Niniola is undoubtedly the queen of afro-house music, and her distinct sound and cheeky lyrics have brought her very far. Her 2017 debut album, This Is Me cemented her position in the music industry, and she has since continued to release fantastic music.

As for Teni, she was 2018’s biggest breakout star, and she promises an even better 2019. In a recent interview with GoldMyne TV, Niniola teased a potential collaboration with her sister. Although she didn’t promise anything, she didn’t deny that there was a song coming.

She said:

“Just stay close, because before you know it, the song can just drop tomorrow!”

Well, given that we’re expecting Teni’s debut project quite soon, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that this collaboration ends up on there. Hopefully, they’ll release it as a single quite soon, and as Niniola instructed, we’ll be staying close.
