A Nigerian doctor, Dr Terry has revealed his experience with coronavirus after testing positive.
He took to Twitter to share his personal fight with COVID-19, saying it was terrible.
He said it all started after he showed symptoms like fever, throat pain, chest pain, vomiting, diarrhea, chickenpox, among others.
The medical officer said the time was really a difficult one for his family, friends, coworkers, and the hospital where he works.

I started having symptoms of COVID-19 23 days ago. I got tested and result came out positive.
I went through a torrid time with symptoms such as; fever, headache, throat pain, chest pain, vomiting, diarrhea, swollen lymph nodes and chicken pox like skin eruptions for 14 days
It was a difficult period of time for me, my family, friends, colleagues and the management of the hospital where I work.
I’m most appreciative to God for sparing my life and healing me. Also, to my family, friends, colleagues,
management of Nisa Premier Hospital Jabi and everyone who took out time to call me, text me, pray for me or send food/drugs, I’m Most grateful.
I’m glad to say that I’ve been symptoms free now for 9 days and have finally tested negative to COVID-19.
I BEAT COVID-19 GUYS!
We all need to be careful by using face masks, regularly washing hands with soap and water, using of alcohol based sanitizers and also avoiding unnecessary public gatherings.
COVID-19 is real! Don’t be the next victim.I survived it, you might not survive it cos others have died
