Teni‘s meteoric rise has been an absolute joy to behold, and it’s no secret that she was the breakout star of 2018 — dropping hits and scooping up awards.

She’s currently on her first-ever worldwide tour, and she recently concluded her UK leg. While she was in the UK, she paid a visit to Tim Westwood, like most Nigerian stars tend to do, and she got the chance to perform a rather impressive freestyle.

Years ago, Davido’s infamous Tim Westwood freestyle became one of the funniest moment in pop culture, however, Teni doesn’t have to worry about her performance being made fun of. A lot her biggest hits came about from her freestyling, so it’s no surprise that she killed it.

The 8-minute freestyle finds her mostly sticking to her usual themes of love. She questions her lover’s commitment to her, asking whether he will die for her and how down he is for their relationship. She then switches up and becomes political, shedding light on the ills of our society today
