Pastor Adewale Giwa of the Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Ministry, has condemned the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, for making a U-turn on his decision to allow Christians meet on Sunday to celebrate Easter.

Recall that Ondo State governor temporarily lifted the ban on a religious gathering in the state, in order for Christians in the state converge on Churches on Sunday for the Easter celebration.

Akeredolu, however, on Tuesday on his Twitter account announced the cancellation of the Easter services.

Giwa in a statement described the decision of Akeredolu as cowardly, saying, “He is a coward, and I don’t think a coward can produce good leadership. Why did he allow himself to be fooled that someone was tested positive of COVID-19?”

“He should have verified the report himself as a governor before making a U-turn.”
