Omeruo Celebrates Leganes Win Over Simon’s Levante

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo is thrilled with Leganes 1-0 win against Moses Simon’s Levante in their LaLiga clash at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Monday, reports Completesports.com.

Oscar Rodriguez’sk 13th minute strike was all Manuel Pellegrino’s men needed to take all three points in the game.

Omeruo who put up a fine performance in the game was on for the entire duration.

The former Nigeria youth international took to the social media to celebrate his side’s victory in the game.

“Well fought victory yesterday against a good side… Vamos Legané, #omeruo and great game from my bro @MosesDaddySimon good luck against chukwuezesamuel8 next week ??,” Omeruo tweeted.

Omeruo who is loan at Leganes from Chelsea has made 19 league appearances for the club this season.

Simon who played at right-back for Levante in the game was replaced 15 minutes from time by Roger Marti.

Leganes are now 11th on the table with 33 points from 26 matches and are 10 points clear of the relegation zone, while Levante remain in 15th place on 30 points.
