He bagged a brace as the Millers recorded a hard fought 3-2 win against Blackburn Rovers in their English Championship clash at the AESSEAL New York Stadium last Saturday.

It was his third goal in two Championship outings for the club who are battling hard to escape the drop.

Ajayi put the home team ahead after two minutes as he rose above everyone in the box to nod home Will Vaulks corner.

The centre-back got his second and Rotherham United’s third goal of the game when he headed home Vaulks’ cross six minutes from time.

Ajayi has now scored four goals in 35 league appearances for Rotherham United this season.
