Werder Bremen have secured the future of Josh Sargent by getting him tied down to a new long-term contract at the club.
The 19-year-old American forward has only just made his first start in the Bundesliga but such is his potential and talent they have wasted no time in securing his future.

Sargent arrive at the club in 2018 but was not allowed to play last season as he had not turned 18 at the time of the transfer.
The youngster got off to a great start when scoring on his first-team debut against Fortuna Duesseldorf back in December and has two goals in nine Bundesliga appearances this season.
He made his first start on Friday against Stuttgart, two days after his birthday and Bremen are delighted to announce his new deal.
“We’re very pleased with Josh’s development. His future belongs at Werder,” club managing director Frank Baumann said in a statement.
