Guinea have book a place in the knockout stages of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, after the team defeated Gambia 1-0 on Friday at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium.
The only goal of the game was scored by Aguibou Camara in the 70th minute to ensure Guinea pick the maximum points.

Guinea could have extended their lead in the additional time after the expiration of 90 minute but they failed to convert their chance.
The win means Guinea sit second on the log on four points while Gambia remain bottom without a point.
Guinea will face reigning champions, Senegal in their final group game on Tuesday while Cameroon battle Gambia.
