Nigeria winger Moses Simon has been named in Nantes’ squad for the Ligue 1 opening day fixture against Girondis Bordeaux, reports Completesports.com.
The encounter is billed for the Stade Matmut-Atlantique on Friday.
Simon will come up against his international team-mates Samuel Kalu and Josh Maja in the game.
The game originally billed for Saturday was brought forward by La Ligue de Football Professional after the original opening day fixture between Olympic Marseille and Saint Etienne was affected by positive coronavirus test results.
Simon, who was voted Nantes’ player of the year for the 2019/20 season, scored five goals in 26 league appearances for the club last term.
