Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem has announced the birth of his first child, reports Completesports.com.
Awaziem announced the arrival of the bundle of joy on the social media.
The centre-back posted an image of himself, where he was carrying his baby, who he has named Christel.
“I can’t explain the way I feel right now, thank you God for giving me Christel, Latest dad in town,” Awaziem posted on Instagram.

The arrival of Christel is a big lift for the versatile defender after a disappointing end to his loan spell at Spanish club Leganes.
Leganes were relegated on the final day of the campaign following a 2-2 home draw against Real Madrid.
Awaziem made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Cucumber Growers in the 2019/20 season.
He is now expected to return to his parent club FC Porto for the 2020/21 campaign.
