A yet-to-be identified church has raised eyebrows after its members were seen in a trending footage flogging poverty with cane.

The incident which took place in Nigeria has left many people wondering what could have made people to keep flogging the floor when the poverty does not live there.

It was gathered that the members were ordered to flog poverty by their pastor.

They were pictured flogging poverty with the kobokos while in church.
