Chief Medical Director, Prof Otegbayo tests negative for coronavirus, days after testing positive

The Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Prof. Otegbayo Jesse, has tested negative for coronavirus, just days after testing positive to the virus.

Recall that Prof Otegbayo on Sunday, 29th April 2020, released a statement saying he had tested positive to the virus.

However, a new test result carried out after eight days of isolation and treatment, has come out negative.

The Head of Public Relations Unit of UCH Ibadan, Mr Toye Akinrinlola, said the Chief Medical Director’s last blood sample test returned negative.
