A young Nigerian disc jockey, Emmanuel İfeanyi Okonyia aka EmmyJay, has been found tortured to dead in his apartment at Şişli Mecidiyeköy, In Turkey.
According to local Turkish media, the owner of the apartment where EmmyJay, who is a DJ in night clubs, lived had called him for a couple of days but didn’t hear from him.
The lordlord decided to ask for help from a real estate agent in order to know the where about of EmmyJay.
Opening the door with his own key of the apartment, the real estate agent saw EmmyJay motionless in the living room with his hands and feet tied behind with a cable.
Closing the door with panic, the real estate agent came out and called the landlord and explained the situation.
Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene after the landlady was informed, and they confirmed that Emmanuel İfeanyi Okonyia was already dead.
Police confirmed that that Emmanuel Okonyia, who had a knife next to his body, was tortured before he was killed.
Investigator empathized that Okonyia may have fallen victim to a jealousy murder in the light of the findings obtained so far.
The body of Emmanuel İfeanyi Okonyia was removed from the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue after the investigation.
Meanwhile, relatives and friends of Okonyia who came to the scene shed tears uncontrollably.
