At the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, RB Leipzig claimed a 2-1 win vs Benfica, with former Everton man watching proceedings from the bench for the entirety of the game.
The German Bundesliga side established a two-goal lead thanks to Werner’s double, before substitute Seferović pulled one back for the hosts on 84 minutes.
Paul Onuachu
In a Group E clash at the Red Bull Arena, the Super Eagles striker came off the bench in the 85th minute as Racing Genk were hammered 6-2 by Salzburg.
Haland scored a first-half hat-trick; Hwang Hee-Chan, Szoboszlai and Ulmer were also on target for the hosts while Lucumí and Samatta pulled goals back for the Belgian club.
