Over the weekend, Naomi Campbell held her annual Fashion For Relief show, which saw Tiwa Savage make her runway debut. Well, that wasn’t the only way the supermodel showed her love for Nigeria, as she was spotted donning a custom Mowalola piece to the show’s after-party.
The stunning white leather dress, complete with a blood-stained bullet hole, was one of the many looks Campbell modelled on the runway. In usual Naomi fashion, she looked stunning while still passing a socio-political message, in keeping with the aim of her entire fashion showcase.
Fashion For Relief was founded in 2005 to help disadvantaged people globally. Hosted in London this year, the showcase raised funds for the Mayor’s Young Londoner’s fund, which is helping young people fulfil their potential, particularly those at risk of getting caught up in crime.
We’re glad that there were Nigerians involved in such a good cause.
