While Nigeria and England fight over Tammy Abraham, the striker is busy soaring at Chelsea. After becoming the club’s third-youngest player to score twice in a Premier League game, he made history over the weekend, becoming the youngest Chelsea player to score a Premier League hat-trick.

According to OptaJoe, Abraham was 21 years and 347 days old on Saturday, when Chelsea took on Wolves. He scored three clean goals within a space of 21 minutes. He even happened to score an own goal, which didn’t really help the Wolves, as they lost 5-2.

Funnily enough, the goal has made him the first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick and an own goal in the same game. Despite this one mistake, we hate to imagine where Chelsea would be on the league table without him.

With seven goals under his belt, he is now the current top-scorer in the Premier League. If he continues in this superb goal-scoring form, there’s no doubt that this season’s Golden Boot will be his. We are certainly rooting for him.
