The Super Eagles of Nigeria has defeated the Indomitable lions of Cameroon 3 goals to 2 in a tense encounter today at the Alexandria stadium in Egypt to book their place in the quarter-finals.
Nigeria took the lead with Odion Ighalo on the scoresheet only for Cameroon to score two quick fire goals to end the first half ahead.
However at the resumption of the second half, Nigeria’s Ighalo got his second goal of the game before Alex Iwobi added a third to give Nigeria victory.
