Kelechi Iheanacho will link up with his Super Eagles teammates on Tuesday, January 9 ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, according to president, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Ibrahim Gusau.

Iheanacho is currently recovering from a muscle injury and is yet to link up with his international teammates at their Abu Dhabi training base ahead of the competition.

The forward’s Leicester City teammate Wilfred Ndidi has already been ruled out of the 2023 AFCON finals due to injury.
