Transfer: Villarreal drop Chukwueze as Man Utd sign two players from Man City

Villarreal winger, Samuel Chukwueze, will not be involved in their squad to face Hannover in a pre-season friendly.

The Super Eagles star is close to sealing a move to Serie A giants, AC Milan.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted on Saturday: “Samuel Chukwueze has not even been called up for the Villarreal friendly game vs Hannover.

“He’s on the verge of joining AC Milan as deal will be completed next week.”

Milan will pay €30m to sign Chukwueze, who has one year remaining on his contract with the Yellow Submarine.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are set to sign the twin sons of former midfielder, Darren Fletcher, from Manchester City.

The transfer fee will be a “record” in the UK for U-16 players.

“Understand Man United are closing in on deal to sign both Jack Fletcher and Tyler Fletcher — locked in talks with Man City for two top talents, deal expected to be announced soon.

“Record fee expected within UK for U16 players. Busy summer for City Academy,” Romano wrote.
