Rivers United head coach, Stanley Eguma believes the best out of the six teams competing in the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs will win the competition.
The competition will produce the winner of the 2022/23 season.
Rivers United are among the six teams competing in the competition.
“This competition is a very good avenue to know the best teams to represent Nigeria on the continent next season,”Eguma told reporters.
“Without any form of sentiment Nigerians have already seen the quality in teams that can represent them in the CAF club competitions next season.
“I am confident in any of our teams that will make it to the top three of the playoff to do well on the continental stage.”
Eguma’s side won the title last season for the first time.
The Port Harcourt have garnered four points from two games in the playoffs.
