BREAKING: Orji Kalu’s wife, Ifeoma is dead

Mrs. Ifeoma Kalu, wife of the ex-governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has passed away.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the federal legislator announced this via a post on his verified Facebook page on Monday.

Senator Orji Kalu, who serves as the Chief Whip of the Senate, described Ifeoma as a virtuous woman who devoted herself to the service of God and humanity. She passed away at the age of 61.

“With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to the eternal glory of Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61.

“She was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity.

“A memorial service in her honour is scheduled to hold in the United States of America,” the lawmaker wrote.
