It seems as though the mild tension between Nigeria and Ghana doesn’t make its way into the music industry. It’s no secret that when artists from each country come together, they make magic.
Well, BOJ has just released his contribution to this, with his new song, “Awolowo” featuring Ghanaian artists, Joey B, Kwesi Arthur & Darko Vibes.
Right from his breakout, it was made clear that Boj’s greatest strength is his ability to kill every single hook, and he’s only gotten better over the years. The last time we heard from him, he teamed up with Teni for the fantastic “Obe”, and now he’s taken his talent to our neighbour country with this new song.
Produced by GMK, the beat though catchy, leaves enough room for each artist to shine, with the undoubted standout being BOJ’s incredible hook – as usual. On the track, the artists are inspired by money and the need to grind, singing that they must be rich and famous by all means necessary.
This is the first track of BOJ’s upcoming project, Alte Bank Of Africa, and he’s definitely gained some more Ghanaian fans thanks to this feature!
