The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has commiserated with renowned Juju singer, King Sunny Ade, over the death of his wife, Risikat Adegeye, who was a member of the 6th Lagos State House of Assembly.
Buhari’s condolence message was contained in a statement on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, titled ‘President Buhari condoles with King Sunny Ade, Lagos state govt over passing of Hon. Risikat Ajoke Adegeye’.
According to the statement, the President “condoles with the Lagos State Government, House of Assembly members, her friends and political associates, urging trust in God at this very difficult time.”
He prayed that the Almighty God will comfort her husband, family and loved ones, while granting her soul eternal rest.
