The #EndSARS protesters have shut down the Admiralty toll plaza in Lekki, Lagos, News Direct can report.
The #EndSARS protests led by Nigerian youths have continued despite the inspector-general of police announcing the immediate disbandment of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) following a nationwide outcry over its brutality.
He made the announcement at a press conference on Sunday afternoon in Abuja.
According to the youths, the protests will continue until there is a total reform of the Nigerian police force.

Meanwhile, a fresh incident in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has reportedly left about three persons dead from police gunshots on Sunday.
The youths were said to have angrily stormed the palace of the Soun of Ogbomoso while Dare was meeting with the monarch, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewunmi, over the recent killing of a young man, Jimoh Isiaq, by the police during Saturday’s EndSARS protest in the city.
