President Buhari appoints new chief personal security officer

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Aliyu Abubakar Musa, as his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO).

This was made public in a statement released by the Mallam Garba Shehu, Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, today June 29.

According to the statement, DCP Musa who is an indigene of Niger State, served at the Zone 5 of the Nigeria Police Force, Benin City, before his new appointment.

Musa’s appointment follows the redeployment of his predecessor, Commissioner of Police (CP) Abdulkarim Dauda.
