One dead as rival cult groups clash in Delta community

A yet-to-be-identified man was on Monday feared dead as two rival cult groups clashed in Ugbuwangue community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Details at what caused the clash between the cult groups were still sketchy at the time of this report.

It is not also clear if the person killed was a member of any cult group.

When contacted for comments, Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Adeyinka Adeleke, confirmed the incident to our reporter Monday evening.

CP Adeleke said, “It is true, one person was killed. It was a cult clash.”

At the time of filing this report, there is serious tension within the area.
