LAUTECH VC Wins 2019 Southwest Nigeria Education ICON Award

Vice- Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola  University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Professor Michael Olufisayo Ologunde, has been named winner of the 2019 ‘Southwest Nigeria Education ICON’ award.

A letter written to him, dated April 16, 2019, and signed by Pastor Honey Olawale, Chairman, screening committee, on behalf of the organisers of the 2nd Southwest Nigeria Educational awards and lectures, said criteria for the award included Professionalism, Integrity under which thorough background check was conducted and External Testimonies.

It added that the  award would be conferred at a ceremony scheduled to hold on Tuesday May 21, 2019, at the Redeemers’ University Main Auditorium, Ede, Osun State.

Expected keynote Speaker at the event is Prof. Christian Tientcha Happi, who will be speaking on “Curbing Emerging Infectious Diseases on the African Continent”.
