Handsome Man Shot Dead At Collation Center In Rivers, Protest Sparked-Graphic Photos

There was a massive protest today by women of Oyigbo area of Rivers state after a young graduate identified as Chijioke, a son of the soil, was killed by men in police uniform who shot him dead at close range.

It was gathered that the men in police uniforms thugs killed the victim during collation of the gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections.

The incident happened at the St Paul’s Catholic Church close to Oyigbo market.

According to an eyewitness account, four men in police uniforms invaded the collation centre to snatch ballot boxes but when challenged, shot sporadically killing the handsome man on the spot.

They afterwards fled the scene of the murder in a white unmarked Toyota Hilux van.

On this note, the First Lady of Oyigbo LGA, Mrs. Chinwe Oforji in line with the LGA Vice Chairperson, Hon. Mrs. Charity Ekeke, took to the streets of Oyigbo with the entire women of Oyigbo to demand justice for the death of their son Chijioke.
