Last week, Papi Chulo, Timaya, dropped “Balance”, the lead single off his then-forthcoming project, Chulo Vibes. Today, he follows up the solid single with the rest of the project, an impressive offering from the musical old hand.

With Kel P on the beat and Burna Boy with the assisting vocals, it is no surprise that the EP’s third track, “Pull Up” is a standout. Burna and Timaya, unsurprisingly, work really well together on this dynamic song, both delivering excellent performances.

Before “Pull Up” comes the Juls-produced “The Mood”, a great song with a sweet beat that sets an incredible vibe. Another track that stands out is the romantic “Obrigado”, slower in pace than the rest of the EP, but still very well-placed.

In all, Timaya has dropped a pretty commendable project, crowning it with the exciting jam “Stoopid”. With one star feature, Burna Boy, and two other solid guests — Alikaba and Machel Montano — this still manages to be Timaya’s show through and through.
