Adviser on LG and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Jerome Tor-Shimbe has vehemently denied being arrested nor investigated by the Economic an Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC
Tor-Shimbe told journalists at an interactive session that any one who doubts his statement should contact the EFCC.
He said his frequent visit to EFCC was to sort out issues concerning local government staff, stressing that most of the issues have been resolved.
On COVID 19, Tor-Shimbe said the state’s action committee on COVID 19 has the responsibility of overseeing activities of L G action committees on COVID 19.
He said council chairmen who abdicate their responsibilities would be sanctioned, emphasizing that in matters like security, the Bureau does not compromise.
