Administrators of the N-Power scheme, a social investment programme of the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has confirmed when beneficiaries will get their outstanding benefits.
The beneficiaries have been assured they will “receive credit alerts for outstanding payments of their monthly entitlement from today.”
This development was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday, 14th April by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development which supervises the N-Power scheme.
Naija News reports that the delay in payment of the stipend to the N-Power beneficiaries has become an issue of concern to the beneficiaries who have taken to social media to lament the delay.
However, the beneficiaries will start smiling to the bank soon based on the assurance given which was also emphasized in a tweet on Tuesday by Bashir Ahmed, the personal assistant on new media to President Buhari.
He wrote: “The 500,000-strong N-Power enrollees throughout the country should expect to receive credit alerts for outstanding payments of their monthly entitlement from today, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development disclose in a statement.”
