Nollywood actress and Kogi native Halima Abubakar has announced the birth of her first child with fans on her social media page.

The 34 year old movie star shared a photo of her son’s hand with the caption:

A gift from God And I will cherish you for life ?❤️❤️❤️Biggest miracle ❤️A Boy?? 3/4/20

In 2001, Halima began acting after she played a minor role in Rejected. Her debut lead role and big break came when she acted in ‘Gangster Paradise’.

The new mum who is yet to reveal who her baby father is, was born in Kano, where she attended primary school and then studied Sociology at Bayero University, Kano.
