A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Chief Dozie Nwankwo has sent a heartfelt message of hope and encouragement to Nigerians, especially members of his Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia Federal Constituency of Anambra state on the ravaging pandemic of Coronavirus.

Chief Nwankwo in a press statement signed personally by him and made available to journalists in Awka yesterday, commended their tenacity, doggedness, survival instincts and unqualified faith in God to pull through any challenge.

He therefore assured the citizens that, like any other challenge we had faced together before now, we need to remain steadfast, stay safe, stay home and alive for each other. He advised them to dedicatedly abide by all the instructions and directives of the World Health Organization(WHO), the Federal and State Governments to avoid contracting the dreaded virus.

While commending the giant strides of the federal government and few states in controlling and limiting the spread, Nwankwo, popularly known as “Onyendozi”(the builder)charged all Nigerians in leadership position to desist from playing politics with something as serious as the pandemic challenge at hand which concerns the health and wellbeing of citizens.

He disclosed that his efforts to the benefit of the citizens of Anambra state would soon be delivered to their doorsteps to help cushion the effects of the prevailing lockdown in the state.

The legislator prayed that the pandemic would soon pass-bye so that life return back to normal for all. He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari and his aides for stoically rising to the occasion which has given the entire Nigerians assurance and hope.
