Lagos State government has continued to make rapid progress in handling coronavirus infection at a time the world is still searching for solution and curing vaccines for the global epidemic. The state succeeded in the recovery of 11 coronavirus patients who were discharged on Thursday.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Thursday evening revealed the discharge of 11 coronavirus patients from the infectious Disease hospital, Yaba.
The governor in a tweet expressed his happiness on the success being recorded in the state, disclosing that the patients have fully recovered and tested negative to covid-19. The governor identified the patients to include two females and nine males.
Sanwo-Olu in the tweet declared: “I am happy to break to you, my good people of Lagos, the news of the release today of 11 more patients from our facility in Yaba. They have fully recovered and have tested negative to #COVID19 and have been allowed to return home to their families.
“The patients have returned home to their families we will bring you more details
“Their results came out negative in two rounds of tests. I want to use this opportunity to, once again, thank our frontline health workers and other professionals for their service.”
Meanwhile, Lagos State government is handling the treatment of Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.
