Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has approved the
constitution of Interim Management Committee (IMC) for the 27 LGAs, following
directive from the Imo State House of Assembly that an Interim Management
Committee be constituted for effective management of the affairs of the
councils.
Governor Uzodinma gave the approval on Wednesday just as the
27 IMC Chairmen will be sworn-in today.
According to the Governor, other members for each local
government area in the state will be announced later.
The chairmen of the interim management are as follows:
1. Bar. Emma Njoku – Aboh Mbaise
2. Chief Larry Obinna Chikwe – Ahiazu Mbaise
3. Chief Francis Onyeberechi – Ezinihitte Mbaise
4. Bar. Chidi Okechukwu – Ehime Mbano
5. Olemgbe Chike – Ihette Uboma
6. Hon. C. C. Ihejirike – Obowo
7. Mrs. Nkechi Mbaonu – Okigwe
8. Charles Mathew Ijezie – Onuimo
9. Chika Okoroike – Isialla Mbano
10. Gloria Mbadigwe – Ideato North
11. Mayor Obinna Nweke –

12. Ambrose Nkwodinma – Owerri Municipal
13. Chukwuma Ikeaka – Ideato South
