Four additional cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria.
Naija News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in a statement on Monday night, adding that three of the additional cases are in Lagos State while one was discovered at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
A statement by the NCDC reads as thus; “Four new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. 3 are in Lagos State and 1 in FCT
“Two of these cases are returning travellers
“As at 11:00 pm on the 23rd of March, there are 40 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with 1 death recorded,” the statement added.
This online news platform understands that as of 11:00 pm on the 23rd of March, there are 40 confirmed cases of COVID19 in Nigeria. Two out of the number confirmed have been discharged while one death has been recorded.
